It’s official, all the tickets are now sold!

We would like to take this opportunity to say some thank you’s. To everyone who has put posters up for us and taken flyers, especially Spillers, The Gate, Chapter, Waterloo Teahouse and our wonderful friend Ruth and the Rumney Folk Club. To the people who have helped publicise it, including Jess at YourCardiff. All our friends for their numerous retweets and shares on Facebook…and for putting up with our moments of stress/panic. To Al, Gareth and Arwel, without who this would still be a pipe dream but most importantly, THANK YOU to everyone who has bought a ticket (and to Jamie, who won the pair of tickets, but responded with an overwhelmingly generous donation!). We look forward to seeing you all next week.

Diolch yn fawr iawn!

Act fast, when they’re gone, they’re gone!

8 03 2013

Well, what can I say, it’s been an exciting week here at Pipe Up towers!

Tickets sales have been extraordinary and having sold out our initial allocation, we put some more on sale. As things stand, there are just 4 tickets left! When they’re gone, that’s it, we will be at full capacity!

So don’t miss out, buy your ticket now, while you still can!

Competition time!

28 02 2013

We have launched a competition on twitter to win a pair of tickets, which have been very kindly donated!

All you have to do is follow @PipeUp__ and RT the competition tweets before 11.45pm on St David’s Day. One lucky winner will be picked at random – good luck!

The gig is now very close to selling out so, if you miss out in the competition, don’t hang around to get your tickets!

Thanks for all your support.

Pipe Up For Prostate – The countdown is on!

23 02 2013

There is just under three weeks to go until Pipe Up for Prostate Cancer!!

Tickets are selling well, so make sure that you don’t miss out and get yours today, just follow the link on the ticket page!

If you can’t make it, but would still like to donate to the cause, remember that you can either through our just giving page, or by texting PUPC 50 to 70070.

In news regarding our artists, Al Lewis’ latest album ‘Battles’ was released on Monday and was sitting pretty at number 23 on the iTues Singer/Songwriter chart earlier in the week. Al has also announced the dates of his spring tour, which of course features stopping off in Cardiff for PUPC!

We look forward to seeing you all there!

Ways to donate

25 01 2013

Well ticket sales are going well, but we have had people get in touch saying that they can’t make it, but would still like to donate to the cause!

We aren’t ones to look a gift horse in the mouth, so we are happy to now be able to facilitate these requests!

You can donate via the Pipe Up For Prostate Cancer justgiving page or alternatively, text PUPC 50 to 70070, along with the amount you wish to donate!

Just so nobody gets confused, we should make it clear that a donation to the just giving page does not get you a ticket! To buy your tickets, please click here!
